Best Products of 2018

December is always a time for reflection, and Concepts TV is no exception. We’re looking back at the top products of 2018, and WOW, what a year!

  1. Egglettes

If you haven’t gotten your Egglettes yet, you may be the only person without one! Egglettes is absolutely the best product of 2018, and one of our all-time favorites. Need a healthy breakfast? Grab Egglettes. Need a quick lunch? Egglettes!

It’s super easy to use, just crack an egg in the silicone cup, cover and boil. In minutes, you have a delicious, nutritious meal. You can even add veggies to make custom omelets. It’s the easiest way to please every member of the family!

Click here to check out our Egglettes commercial.

  1. Blue Diamond

Copper is great, but a pan covered in diamonds?  Now that’s smart. Blue Diamond is the best in non-stick cookware. It has a 5x harder coating and it’s 10x longer lasting than traditional cookware. Plus it has 4x better heat transfer; that means more even cooking.

What’s one of the best parts of the Blue Diamond Pan you may ask? It’s pretty! It looks great on the stove, and shines even brighter in the oven.

  1. Eagle Eyes

Don’t you wish there were a pair of glasses you could wear to protect your eyes from the blinding sun light AND block your eyes from nighttime lights? Well look no further!  The Eagle Eyes Speed of Life glasses have night time lenses and a pop on sun lens.

The Eagle Eyes Speed of Life glasses are incredibly strong, you can even run a car over them without a scratch (I swear, look at our commercial for proof!). It’s pretty clear that they are the best in eyewear.

  1. Plink

Plink your sink and get rid of the stink! If that’s not the catchiest catch phrase, I don’t know what is. Plink is little tablets that quickly and easily clean out your garbage disposal and leave a fresh scent behind. All you have to do is drop the tablet into the sink, turn on the garbage disposal, and seconds later your sink smells like a tropical paradise.

Plink even has tablets for your washing machine, dishwasher, and shower drain. You can basically clean the entire house with Plink!

  1. Walkee Paws

Have you ever taken the dog for a walk in the rain? Does he ALWAYS come back with dirty paws that end up tracking mud through the house? Well this year we’ve found you a solution… it’s Walkee Paws, the only dog leggings on the market!

These incredible little leggings are comfortable while protecting your puppy from the weather. This product is so intriguing, even People Magazine wrote an article on it!

That’s a wrap on our best products of 2018. We are so grateful we got to produce all of these great digital campaigns and full commercials, and we’re looking forward to more incredible products in 2019!

Best Projects of 2018

This December, the Concepts Video team spent some time reflecting on some of the greatest projects of 2018. Check them out below!

  1. MoleSafe

MoleSafe was one of the most important projects we had this year. We got to dive deep into the causes of skin cancer and created videos to persuade people to go to their local MoleSafe office and get a full body scan.

We heard staggering statistics from doctors and heart wrenching stories from real testimonials, which is what made this MoleSafe project so impactful. We learned that skin cancer can happen to anyone, so go get checked before it’s too late!

  1. MD Hearing Aid

Our MD Hearing Aid project, which began in 2017, took us to California this year, where we interviewed an ear, nose and throat surgeon. Dr. Battaglia spoke about the incredibly high cost and the minimal health insurance coverage of traditional hearing aids.

We found true MD Hearing Aid believers all over the country, and were captivated by their confidence in the product.

  1. Kegenix Campaign

This year, Concepts Video was a part of a really incredible digital campaign for Kegenix, a line of ketone based supplements. We created compelling, graphic heavy videos for a successful social media campaign, and produced an influencer testimonial video with Collette Stohler of Roamaroo.

The team also flew to Florida’s west coast to film gripping testimonials and convincing doctor endorsements. This project was eye opening, and really taught the team more about ketosis and the impact of a healthy lifestyle.

  1. Natural Dentist

Dental health is vital, and this year Concepts Video got to promote a new, all natural tooth care line called Natural Dentist. This line boasts gentle, all natural mouth washes and toothpastes for sensitive mouths.

The Natural Dentist mouthwash contains 20% aloe vera gel, which makes it the perfect wash to use for bleeding gums and sensitive teeth. Our Concepts Video team still uses this product for all of our healthy smiles.

  1. Summit Brands (Plink video: https://vimeo.com/304437598)

Earlier this year, we began our Summit Brands journey with Plink, an easy to use garbage disposal cleaner and an absolute must have in the kitchen. These tablets easily get rid of stuck on food and rotten smells from every garbage disposal. Our campaign proved incredibly successful via social media clicks and Amazon purchases.

Most recently, we created short digital, sales driven videos for the entire Iron Out Rust Remover line on Amazon, which will be released in 2019.

Click here to watch our Plink social video. And stay tuned for the Iron Out videos!

That’s a wrap on Concepts Videos best projects of 2018. We are so grateful we got to produce all of these great videos, and we’re looking forward to more incredible pharmaceutical and corporate projects in 2019!

Dimensions of the Social World

There are guidelines when it comes to image and video specs on social media platforms. Facebook for example, a profile image is recommended to be at least 180 x 180 pixels or images can appear to be distorted. A cover photo on Facebook is best uploaded at 820 x 310 pixels and anything less will appear to look stretched. When sharing images on Facebook, the recommend size is 1,200 x 630 pixels. Read more

Pharmaceutical Advertising and Understanding the Patient

In a new digital world, consumers are now relying heavily on the internet to provide health information. “One in twenty Google searches is now for health-related information.” That means that before calling a physician, or scheduling an appointment, consumers go straight to the internet, and many times, self-diagnose from their research. The TV Renaissance

As Geoffrey A. Fowler of the Wall Street Journal said, we are going through a television renaissance right now. Channels are blurred, shows are binge-watched, and streaming is king. Hulu has been around for a few years now, but they’re about to shake up the market again with their Live TV.

Too Many Choices

In the digital age, choosing a TV station is a lot like trying to find a quality piece of clothing in H&M; it’s in there, but you may not have the patience to find it. Fowler continues, ‚“Hulu isn’t the only service to recognize we need fewer choices, not more. YouTube TV, the Google live service that launched last month, puts search, trending shows and personalized suggestions front and center. Sling TV’s home screen has evolved to include the stuff you watch most. Even Comcast is leading traditional cable companies to adapt with a new X1 cable box that offers 'for you’ recommendations, plus a voice-commanded remote.”

Advertising During the Renaissance

With the shift to streaming and digital content, advertisers have an opportunity: adapt and advertise on various platforms. For example, big brands like Johnson & Johnson and AT&T have advertised on YouTube. If a brand is looking to advertise on Hulu, they can opt into choice-based ads where the viewer has the choice of what type of ads to see. If you’re a pharmaceutical company or car company, this is key for targeted marketing. Another benefit of advertising on Hulu is the direct click through for users to purchase a product instantly. Unlike the days of traditional TV commercials, this gives customers and advertisers the ability for instant transactions.
