A native New Yorker, Collette earned advanced degrees from Fordham University and New York University, and attended Harvard University’s Owner/President Management Program. She worked as a financial reporter at Dunn & Bradstreet and as an ad agency account executive at Saatchi & Saatchi. Her corporate career included working as the Public Relations Director and Ad Manager at Cy/Ro, an international division of American Cyanamid. In 1983, she launched Concepts TV Productions Inc. to concentrate on the creative aspects of multimedia.
Collette was honored with the prestigious Electronic Retailing Association Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014. Ms. Liantonio was recognized as ‚“One of the 25 Most Influential People in DRTV” and was elected into the 2014 Direct Response Marketing Association’s Hall of Fame. Her company was ranked as one of the nation’s 500 leading entrepreneurial companies by DiversityBusiness.com. Collette was ranked as one of the Top 150 Leading Women Entrepreneurs by New Jersey Monthly. Collette was honored by the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey as one of their Women of Achievement in 2014 and as a Philadelphia Woman of Distinction.
Collette is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization, the Woman’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the Women-Owned Business Enterprise for New York City (WBE). She has served on the Electronic Retailing Association’s Board of Directors. Besides spending leisure time in Long Beach Island with her children and grandchildren, Collette and her husband Jan love bicycling in faraway lands such as Bhutan, South Africa, Iceland and Finland, and wine tasting in Bordeaux, France.
